What We’ll Cover
This is an open and interactive creative writing class for middle school and high school students (recommended ages 10-15) who enjoy writing and want to spend time honing their craft.
Students will have the chance to look at samples from novels and short stories that offer excellent examples of these elements and will be able to practice writing in the style of famous authors, including Edgar Allan Poe, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and more!
The class will focus on a lively and interactive discussion. I will also introduce slides and games to keep everyone engaged!
Additionally, students are welcome to send me examples of their work for feedback. They can send work they have completed in class or something else they are working on.
Classes occur on GoogleMeet and will include access to a Google Classroom site. Students will share their work to receive my personal feedback. You can also receive a discount on 1-hour tutoring and ongoing tutoring services.
